Each year the captain and crew of the Schooner Isaac H. Evans start the season with a day sail to benefit a local charity. Join them on Sunday, May 31 to raise sails and funds for Steelin' Thunder. You will sail from 10am- 2pm and lunch is included. Tickets are $50 each and all proceeds go to the chosen charity. Formed in 2001 and based in Rockland, Steelin' Thunder is a steel drum band with 17 members representing eight different towns from Waldoboro to Belfast.
